1. Beautiful Blue Color Palates

In 2024, we can get inspired by nothing but the color ‘blue’. The blue color is going to create such a new trend that will amaze your creativity in 2024. From furniture to paintings, different artifacts to wallpaper, etc. the beauty of decorating with blue is that this color will draw us to a cool atmosphere visually and make our surroundings calm and pleasant.

In comparison with other colors, blue color enhances the room and always motivates us to do something new every day. As we love to see the empty blue sky in the same way let’s put the blue sky in our room in 2024.

2. Biophilic Design

Biophilic design will thrive for interior design trends in 2024. This trend centers around bringing the outdoors inside, creating spaces that foster a stronger connection with nature. Expect to see more indoor plants, living green walls, natural materials like stone and wood, and large windows to maximize natural light, from color palettes rooted in nature to the warmth of wood and the durability of natural stone, establishing an indoor-outdoor feel in the home can be both calming and relaxed and uplifting and energizing simultaneously.

3. Warming ‘new’ Neutrals

Instead, paint trends and color trends are moving towards more warming and earthy colors in the home, with palettes of pale pinks, soft yellows, and cozy browns working wonderfully as refreshing, new neutrals.

Delicate pinks, soft neutrals, and warm browns are great to use if you want to achieve a natural, modern, and uncluttered aesthetic, and they make any room feel cozy and comforting. These colors can be used as accents in furnishing or the dominant color throughout a scheme. I find that the shades work best when paired together, as their warm undertones create a sense of cohesion between each color.

4. Mixed Metals

There are lots of opportunities to use a mixed metal light fixture to harmoniously combine brass and black or bronze, or even brass and nickel.  It feels layered, adds depth, and interest, and can really elevate a space. First, there are more metal components in a home than you might expect: plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, hardware, etc. When you really consider how many metal finishes share a space, it can be a bit overwhelming.

  • Tips for Mixing Metals
  • Stick to 2-3 metals
  • Make sure the metal finishes you’re mixing have enough contrast
  • Consider the texture of the metal
  • Make sure your metals feel balanced in the space.
