“Welcome to the new Era of technology!! The ChatGPT!”
ChatGPT by OpenAI, an artificial intelligence tool, trained model to speak back and forth with human users on a wide range of topics. Deploying a machine-learning algorithm or AI model, the chatbot scans your text across the internet and it is able to develop a statistical model that allows it to string words together in response to a given prompt but now where is Google stands on AI ??
Google uses AI immensely. Google has shared its perspective on the growth of artificial intelligence (AI) and has also answered why it is taking a slower approach compared to another new tool like ChatGPT. Google’s newer ‘AI-based’ innovations such as its LaMDA chatbot and Waymo self-driving car. Enroll now for the Machine Learning classes in Pune with SevenMentor and acquire incredible skills.
Google’s ‘explanation’ on AI has arrived when this topic AI becomes the big buzzword of 2023 so give credit to OpenAI’s ChatGPT chatbot. Many called it will be the end of Google’s dominance on search and reports and it seems alarm bells going off at the tech giant due to ChatGPT. Google’s executives stated that it “is an exciting time and will be more challenging in the development of AI,” and also talked about the company’s approach to implementing the technology and also talked about DeepMind.
DeepMind, Google’s subsidiary has been a pioneer in AI research company for the last decade Google acquired DeepMind nine years ago. This ChatGPT is in trending now, DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis announced that it’s about to release its own chatbot, called Sparrow, probably in 2023. This sparrow is going to launch this year.
The importance should be on issues of complexities and risks with AI and also likely share thoughts on Google’s development of the technology will have to address these.
“DeepMind claims that its Sparrow dialogue agent is the strongest”
Google’s LaMDA chatbot, which is built on a similar large language model as ChatGPT, is capable of having intelligent conversations. LaMDA made headlines last year when an engineer claimed it was sentient. Additionally, Google demonstrated how LaMDA can assist writers with fiction writing, though it acknowledged that currently, the chatbot is more of a helper. SevenMentor’s ML programs are one of the top Machine Learning course in Pune.
“AI is shaping your future”
PaLM, or Pathways Language Model, is another language model that will be larger than LaMDA and GPT-3, on which ChatGPT is based. PaLM will also support translations to other languages, but it has not yet been rolled out to the public. Similarly, LaMDA is not yet available to users and can only be accessed through beta testing on the AI Kitchen app. The paper also delves into the complexities and risks of deploying AI tools, and Google emphasizes that AI is already being used in core products such as Search, Maps, Photos, Workspace, and Android phones. Waymo, Google’s self-driving project, is still being tested in the US
Google may show new AI products later this year or at its annual I/O conference. So, Wait and Watch !!!
