Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst Trainer to conduct professional training sessions for students and working professionals aspiring to build a career in finance and analytics. The trainer will be responsible for delivering practical, industry-relevant sessions that cover financial statement analysis, valuation techniques, budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting along with a passion for teaching and mentoring learners towards industry readiness.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Delivery
Conduct financial analysis and modeling training sessions in classroom, online, or hybrid mode.
Deliver modules on topics such as:
Financial Statement Analysis
Ratio Analysis & Forecasting
Budgeting & Variance Analysis
Financial Modeling (Excel-based)
Business Valuation Techniques
Investment & Risk Analysis
Corporate Finance Fundamentals
Provide real-world case studies and projects to enhance practical understanding.
Conduct regular assessments, quizzes, and mock interviews to track learner progress.
2. Curriculum Development
Develop, review, and continuously improve course content, ensuring alignment with the latest industry trends and financial tools.
Design practical assignments, case studies, and financial models for hands-on learning.
Integrate modern financial analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.) into the curriculum.
3. Learner Engagement & Mentorship
Guide learners in applying financial concepts to real-world business scenarios.
Mentor students through projects and help them build portfolios for job placement.
Provide interview preparation, resume guidance, and soft skills support where required.
4. Reporting & Coordination
Collaborate with academic and placement teams for batch scheduling and learner progress tracking.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
Certifications (Preferred): CFA, CPA, CA, CMA, or MBA (Finance).
Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst, or similar role.
Prior experience as a trainer or corporate instructor preferred.
Proficiency in:
MS Excel (Advanced)
Financial Modeling & Valuation
Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau – preferred)
Understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of investment banking, equity research, or FP&A domains.
Familiarity with Bloomberg, SAP, or other financial platforms.
Ability to simplify complex financial concepts for learners at different levels.
Work Mode
Hybrid / On-site: FC Road, Pune
Flexible training schedules (weekday or weekend batches).
Engagement Type
- Freelance / Contract-Based or Full-Time (depending on trainer’s availability).
