Job Description
The GMB Executive is responsible for managing, optimizing, and maintaining Google My Business listings to improve local search visibility, online presence, and customer
engagement for the organization or its clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, manage, and optimize Google My Business (GMB) profiles
Ensure accurate business information including address, contact details, hours, and
categories
Monitor and respond to customer reviews, Q&A, and messages
Post regular updates, offers, and photos on GMB listings
Track insights, performance metrics, and local SEO results
Coordinate with marketing teams to align GMB activities with campaigns
Resolve listing issues such as suspensions, duplicates, or verification problems
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of Google My Business and local SEO practices
Excellent written communication skills for review responses and posts
Analytical skills to interpret GMB insights and performance data
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple listings and deadlines
Basic knowledge of digital marketing and online branding
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
Preferred Experience:
1–3 years of experience managing Google My Business or local SEO accounts
Experience working in digital marketing agencies or marketing teams preferred
Familiarity with SEO tools, analytics platforms, or reputation management tools is an
advantage
