About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Government Tender & Business Development Executive/Manager to identify, manage, and secure government tenders and projects related to Education, Skill Development, IT Training, Corporate Training, Digital Skills, and Workforce Development.
The candidate will be responsible for the complete tender lifecycle, including identifying relevant opportunities, reviewing eligibility criteria, preparing documentation, coordinating with internal teams, submitting bids, and supporting the organisation through the tender and project execution process.
Key ResponsibilitiesTender Identification & Research:
- Search and identify relevant Government Tenders and RFP opportunities related to Education, Skill Development, IT Training, and Technology Training.
- Regularly monitor government tender portals and procurement platforms.
- Identify opportunities from Central Government, State Government, Universities, Government Institutions, Skill Development Bodies, and other public organisations.
- Analyse tender requirements, eligibility criteria, scope of work, and project requirements.
Tender Management:
- Manage the complete tendering and bidding process.
- Prepare and coordinate tender documents, technical proposals, commercial proposals, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure all tender submissions are completed within the required deadlines.
- Maintain proper records of submitted, ongoing, won, and lost tenders.
- Coordinate with internal departments for required documents and information.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Prepare and manage documents required for tender submissions.
- Ensure compliance with eligibility criteria and tender requirements.
- Coordinate for company documents, financial documents, technical documents, certificates, declarations, and other required information.
- Maintain an updated database of company credentials and documents required for government tenders.
Government & Business Development:
- Build relationships with relevant government departments, educational institutions, universities, and skill development organisations.
- Identify new government training and education business opportunities.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and tender-related discussions when required.
- Coordinate with management and internal teams for proposal strategy and project planning.
Reporting:
- Maintain a regular pipeline of upcoming and active tender opportunities.
- Share regular reports on:
- New Tender Opportunities
- Submitted Tenders
- Upcoming Deadlines
- Tender Status
- Won and Lost Opportunities
- Potential Revenue
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in Government Tender Management / Tendering / Government Business Development.
- Knowledge of government procurement processes and tender documentation.
- Experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals.
- Strong documentation and proposal-writing skills.
- Good understanding of the Education, Training, Skill Development, or IT sector.
- Ability to understand RFPs, RFQs, eligibility criteria, and scope of work.
- Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple tender deadlines.

Experience:
2–6+ years of relevant experience
- Candidates with proven experience in successfully managing and winning government tenders will be preferred.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in government tendering and business development, with the ability to identify opportunities and manage the complete tender process.
The candidate should also understand the Education and Training ecosystem and be capable of helping the organisation expand into Government, Skill Development, Institutional, and Public Sector training projects.
