Interior Design Trainer

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Interior Design & Landscape Design Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of Interior Design, Landscape Design, BIM, SketchUp, and Vastu Shastra, along with the ability to deliver hands-on, industry-oriented training.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver practical training sessions on Interior Design and Landscape Design.

- Train students on BIM (Building Information Modelling) concepts and workflows.

- Provide hands-on training in SketchUp for 3D modelling and visualization.

- Teach Vastu Shastra principles and their application in residential and commercial spaces.

- Train students in Landscape Design, including garden planning, outdoor spaces, hardscape and softscape design.

- Cover 2D/3D design, floor plans, furniture layouts, lighting, materials, colour schemes, and space planning.

- Guide students in developing residential, commercial, and landscape design projects.

- Conduct practical assignments, assessments, portfolio reviews, and live projects.

- Mentor students and provide constructive feedback on their projects.

- Keep students updated with current interior, architectural, and landscape design trends.

- Coordinate with the academic and operations teams for effective batch planning and course delivery.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Interior Design & Space Planning

- Knowledge of Landscape Design

- Hands-on experience with BIM

- Proficiency in SketchUp

- Good understanding of Vastu Shastra

- Knowledge of AutoCAD and 2D drafting

- Knowledge of 3D modelling and rendering tools

- Understanding of Hardscape, Softscape, Garden Planning & Outdoor Space Design

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Ability to explain technical concepts through practical examples

- Strong student mentoring and project-handling skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

- 2–5 years of relevant industry experience.

- Prior experience as an Interior Designer, Architect, Landscape Designer, BIM Professional, or Trainer will be preferred.

- Candidates with strong portfolios and practical project experience will be preferred.
