Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Placement Officer to manage student placements, build corporate relationships, and coordinate recruitment drives. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, networking, and coordination skills to help students secure suitable job opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with companies, recruiters, and hiring managers.
Generate placement opportunities for students across various domains.
Coordinate campus recruitment drives, interviews, and hiring events.
Communicate placement opportunities to students and guide them through the recruitment process.
Track student placement records and maintain placement reports.
Conduct employability sessions on resume building, interview preparation, and professional etiquette.
Follow up with employers regarding interview feedback and hiring status.
Ensure placement targets are achieved on a monthly basis.
Collaborate with training teams to align student skills with industry requirements.
Maintain a database of recruiters, job openings, and placement statistics.
Required Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
Good knowledge of recruitment and placement processes.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and email communication.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strong presentation and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
Experience in Placement, Recruitment, HR, Career Counseling, or Training Industry preferred.
Familiarity with job portals such as Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, and WorkIndia.
