Job Description: • Monitor event alerts and notify the relevant teams. • Process requests from end users, escalating to level 2 and level 3 support engineers when necessary. • Monitor database availability, including DB and instance availability, as well as disk drive and file system space availability. • Monitor Oracle Alert logs, transaction logs, and backup logs. • Monitor database-related activities and respond to calls from application support and development teams. • Monitor backups and recovery errors, and respond to requests for database restoration. • Monitor metric alerts and address performance issues such as high CPU and memory utilization, application performance, and query tuning. • Monitor metric alerts and address performance issues such as high CPU and memory utilization, application performance, and query tuning. • Acknowledge requests for database stop/start, user creation, and granting specific data access.
